Our heart is to bring Christians from different denominations together, so we can function as one body. Our primary method of accomplishing this is by communicating announcements from local ministries – events, information, and needs – to our followers. The principal tools we use include this website, emails from Pass the Word, and posts on FaceBook.

Pass the Word Bibles, Books & More provides the physical structure for our ministry. In addition to being a gathering spot, we have a Community Link bulletin board, which promotes Christian news from across our city and the surrounding region. If you have a poster for an upcoming event, or other information to share, please bring it to our store and we’ll be happy to post it for you. You may also send the information to us electronically via our contact form.

Finances and other resources from the store are used to support local ministries. With your assistance, over the past year we were able to help more than a dozen local groups with donations. For example:

• When the call went out for Bibles for Healing Hearts’ summer camps, 196 Bibles were donated – enough for their camps as well as for their kids’ clubs. Praise God!
• Used materials were donated to five local ministries – Shayil Home plus four First Nations fellowships – who are extremely grateful for these resources.
• Love Lives Here received generous amounts of teddy bears and Cheese Whiz (used in their bus ministry) from customers who dropped off donations, as well as from Community Link.
• We promoted fundraiser events for many organizations, and were pleased to be able to donate to several of them.
• Plus much more!
