5-Day Clubs 2022

5-day clubsA Division of Child Evangelism Fellowship

Once again this summer, young people will be sharing the Gospel across Alberta and Saskatchewan through the 5-Day Clubs ministry. For five consecutive days, one hour each day, children gather to hear Bible stories, sing songs, learn Bible verses, and listen to a missionary story as the Gospel is clearly presented. For those unable to attend a 5-Day Club in person, there will also be online sessions available the week of July 18.

Interested in bringing a club to your area? It’s not too late to book one. This program works for churches wanting to host a VBS, too! To learn more about the 5-Day Clubs and hosting one in your area, please visit 5dayclubs.com.

Many of the young adults leading these clubs are post-secondary students who have chosen to give their summer to God to reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ. The Summer Missionary Program helps raise funds for these students so they are able to return to school in the fall.

Since the entire program is offered free of charge, they need our support to keep these clubs running, and to support the Summer Missionaries. Donations may be made online (debit, credit, PayPal, or e-transfer), or by mailing a cheque to:
CEF of Saskatchewan
707 Prairie Ave.
Box 236
Sedley, SK S0G 4K0

Last but not least, please remember to pray for this ministry – for the finances, the Summer Missionaries, the hosts, and every child who will hear the Gospel message through 5-Day Clubs this summer.

Surrendering the Secret

Abortion is not a secret anymore, but despite this openness, many women have pain and experiences that they don’t feel comfortable telling anyone. Many women hold this secret deep inside, and are suffering severe consequences.

Options Pregnancy Centre wants women to know there is hope, and there is help. “Surrendering the Secret” allows women who need help to connect with women who can help. This will be an ongoing program offered at the Centre, with the first group beginning on April 5, 2022. You can learn how to register at reginapregnancy.com.

The Collingsworth Tour – CANCELLED

collingsworth family

After prayerful consideration, the board of directors of Canada’s Gospel Music Association has decided to cancel the Collingsworth Family Spring “Mercy & Love Tour 2022” due to difficulties and restrictions arising from the pandemic.

For the past 14 years CGMA has brought first class, spirit filled experiences to Canada despite struggles with high exchange rates and other increasing expenses. Often, they had to subsidize these events. They would sincerely appreciate your prayer support as they make vital decisions about their future at this time.

Two Options

If you purchased advance tickets, please prayerfully consider these options:

  1. DONATE your ticket cost to the CGMC RECOVERY FUND. Please indicate your intention to donate to the ticket seller, along with the ticket numbers. Your help would be so very much appreciated!
  2. RETURN your ticket to where you purchased it, providing the physical ticket with your request for refund. (Service charges will not be refunded.)

Please Note: The above offer will expire February 28, 2022
