“The City of Regina has approved amplified broadcasts of the Islamic Adhan (call to prayer) in downtown Regina – audible for over a kilometre radius. This is not a minor noise issue or accommodation, it is a strategic public assertion of Islam in the heart of the city, directly across from City Hall and an incremental step toward further expansion. Whether you live in Regina or not, this affects you, so please take action.”

If you want to defend your right to peace in your own home (at the very least), without being forced to listen to a foreign religious broadcast, please take action by signing the petition and/or contacting the Mayor and your Councillor.
