Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that offers spiritual, academic and vocational training, thereby equipping individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.

Caring Cup 2018

the caring placeOn Saturday the 28th of July, the Cathedral area community will be hosting the first ever Caring Cup, an 18-hole golf tournament at the Long Creek Golf & Country Club. All proceeds raised during the event will be donated to The Caring Place.

The day will begin at 10 a.m. with a catered breakfast at the Mercury Café. Following the meal, all participants will be bussed to Avonlea for the tournament. There will be a prize at each of the 18 holes. Once everyone has completed the course, all will be bussed back to the city, and are invited to a wind-up at Shannon’s Pub and Grill for appetizers, awards, and prizes.

Cost: $125 per player

Parliament Community Church is pleased to present the Athletes in Action Soccer Camp for children ages 6 to 11.

University, college and club soccer players will help your child grow physically, socially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Each day includes fundamental skill and concept development, exciting competitions, fun fitness, physical literacy and amazing tournaments – the Total Athlete experience.

Dates: Monday, August 13 – Friday, August 17

Cost: Early Bird Registration (by July 13) is $100/child. After July 13, $120/child. 10% off for 2 or more children from the same family.

Location: Camp will be held at the Regina Rugby Club, but drop-off and pick-up are at Parliament Community Church.
