The Glen Elm Church of Christ is again facilitating the Regina Christmas Wish List – an opportunity for  citizens of Regina to express care and compassion during the Christmas season.

The project works like this:

  • Local organizations, working with the impoverished and marginalized of our city, identify individuals and families within their circles, and create concise stories which are posted to the website.
  • Caring citizens read these stories, pledge gifts, and purchase the items they have pledged (new items only), which they then deliver to Glen Elm Church of Christ (1825 Rothwell St., Regina) by 4:00 p.m. on December 18.
  • The gifts are forwarded on to the partnering organizations, who place them in the hands of the clients they identified.
  • Everyone has a merrier Christmas!

To join in, visit Regina Christmas Wish List. All support is greatly appreciated!

Harbour Landing Ministry Opportunity

Some local ministries have come together with a desire to break new ground by reaching out to the community of Harbour Landing. They will be distributing 2,400 “WHY” books on Saturday, November 6 at 1:30 p.m., and they need your help delivering them.

As well, this group wants to reach out to this community with a more permanent ministry. They are in the planning process of planting a new church in the area, with ministry specifically aimed toward new Canadians and new people in Harbour Landing.

They are looking for some help to make both this outreach and new ministry a success. For more information, and if God is speaking to you to get involved, please contact Darcy Rist at darcyharbourlife@gmail.com, or text 306-530-2525.

Every summer, CEF of Saskatchewan hosts 5-Day Clubs – Bible classes for children that occur over five consecutive days. It’s not too late to book a club, and reach children for Christ!

To learn more about the 5-Day Clubs and hosting one in your area, please visit 5dayclubs.com. To learn more about CEF, please visit cefsask.org.

The 5-Day Clubs are free, thanks to the generous support of faithful donors.
