5-day clubsA Division of Child Evangelism Fellowship

Every summer, young people go out and share the Gospel across Alberta and Saskatchewan through the 5-Day Clubs ministry. Interested in bringing one to your area? It’s not too late to book a club. To learn more about the 5-Day Clubs and hosting one in your area, please visit 5dayclubs.com.

Many of these young people are post-secondary students and have chosen to give their summer to God to reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ. Know someone who would be ideal for this job? They are still looking for Summer Missionaries.

The Summer Missionary Program helps raise funds for these students so they are able to return to school in the fall. CEF has set a goal of raising $135,000 for the project. They are still in need of our support. You have an opportunity to help sponsor a Summer Missionary in a constituency of your choice. Love the Newcomers Banquet

Fadl and MarthaThe Arabic Alliance of Canada invites you to attend the Love the Newcomers Banquet, a fundraiser in support of Fadl Tawadrous and his wife Martha Sakr, who have accepted God’s call to minister in Regina as Arabic missionaries.

The evening will feature Shadi Saleb, pastor of the Saskatoon Arabic Church, who will lead a commissioning service, plus Arabic music, and a supper buffet.

CEF has set a goal of raising $160,000 for the project. Currently, 59% of the total support needed has been raised. You have an opportunity to help sponsor a Summer Missionary in a constituency of your choice. GNC School Supplies for North Central 2018

gnc school suppliesGood News Chapel is requesting our help to provide school supplies and shoes for children living in North Central Regina.

Suggested Donations: new shoes, backpacks, markers, pencils, erasers, pens, rulers, calculators, pencil crayons, glue, duo-tangs, notebooks (not spiral), scissors, pencil boxes, pencil sharpeners, tissues, kids tracts, and scripture bookmarks.

Deadline for Donations: Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. Please drop off donations at Indian Metis Christian Fellowship – 3131 Dewdney Ave., Regina.

Volunteers are needed to sort supplies. For more information, please check out their poster.

Street OutreachEveryone is welcome to join this group as they reach out on the streets of Regina with the love of God.

They meet in the middle of Victoria Park every Thursday – rain or shine – at 7 p.m. and minister in the downtown area until 9 p.m.

Special guest speaker Dr. Derrick Mueller from The Gideons International in Canada will be teaching a brand new training program and tool called the GRID. You will learn how to take the fear out of evangelism and sharing your faith by looking at relationships around you and those in your spheres of influence. Come and discover ways to reach out, share Jesus, and participate in evangelism while engaging in a time of fellowship.

Workshops include: Understanding the Canadian Landscape, The GRID Model, Sharing My Faith Story, and Developing Spiritual Conversations.
