CityKidz Regina exists to increase resiliency and inspire Big Dreams for children living in low income communities. The Breakfast of Hope is one of their main fundraising events each year. It provides business owners across Regina the opportunity to network over breakfast while raising funds for CityKidz programs.

Come hungry, and bring business cards.

Date: Wednesday, May 18 at 7:30 to 9:15 a.m.

Options Pregnancy Centre is looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and empathetic individual to fill the role of Client Services Director (CSD).

At Options Pregnancy Centre they provide loving support to anyone affected by an unplanned pregnancy, while giving accurate information and a safe place to process all the available options. The CSD is a ministry position whose primary responsibility is to oversee client support services and supervise client support workers within the centre.

Abortion is not a secret anymore, but despite this openness, many women have pain and experiences that they don’t feel comfortable telling anyone. Many women hold this secret deep inside, and are suffering severe consequences.

Options Pregnancy Centre wants women to know there is hope, and there is help. “Surrendering the Secret” allows women who need help to connect with women who can help. This will be an ongoing program offered at the Centre, with the first group beginning on April 5, 2022. You can learn how to register at reginapregnancy.com.

CEF Vision 2022

Child Evangelism Fellowship spreads the Gospel message to children across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Their ministry encompasses 5-Day Clubs, UB David & I’LL B Jonathan, and Club DJ.

5-Day Clubs is a summer program where the Gospel is clearly presented to the children who gather for this 5-day program.

UB David & I’LL B Jonathan is a non-denominational program consisting of Bible-based correspondence lessons and books.

Club DJ is a midweek church club program designed to draw children from your community to your local church and win them to Christ.

Attend one of the Vision meetings across Saskatchewan to learn how God has been using this ministry to reach the lost, and hear them share their hope for today. Although there will not be the usual meal together, there will be refreshments provided, including coffee, tea, juices and dessert. Cost is free, but they need to know how many people to prepare for, so registration is required.

Turkey dinnerLiving Skies Spiritual Care supplies multi-faith chaplain services to the Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital, and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. They need our support to continue being able to provide hope and encouragement to patients and their families.

You can support this ministry while enjoying a full roast turkey dinner from Charlotte’s Catering for only $24.

First Nations Ministry Course

If you are interested in First Nations ministry and would like to understand some of the differences in sharing the Gospel within a First Nation culture, this course is for you.

Through this course, you will learn about the history and beliefs in First Nations culture, and what God’s Word says in regards to Native culture, traditionalism and spirituality. Some of the challenges of this type of ministry will also be explored.

The course is led by Peter Constant, Pastor at Riverside Bible Church on Opaskyawak Cree Nation, The Pas, MB, and is hosted by Good News Chapel, Northern Canada Evangelical Mission, and Peculiar People’s Parish.

Date: March 25 and 26 at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

At IF:2022, they’re going to talk about how to live in this world right now, and how to navigate a life that goes against culture. How do Christians build community in the middle of that? How do we tell people about Jesus? Come out to discover the next step in your calling, and be encouraged to go out and make disciples.
