March for Jesus is an annual interdenominational prayer walk/march around the city by Christians in Regina.

The purpose is to enforce the Lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ over the city of Regina, and to birth revival in the land by strengthening the bond of unity within the body of Christ.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., beginning at the Legislative Building.

Rising Above – Regina Discipleship Project

First Peoples, helping First Peoples, bringing God’s healing to our land.

Rising Above is a national Indigenous-led Christian ministry founded in 1994.
The Regina Discipleship Project was initiated in 2022 by Nick and Vivian Helliwell.

Their key programs include:

  • Indigenous Christian Discussion Groups, where they discuss authentic Indigenous expressions of the Christian faith. This also brings healing by sharing their grief, recovery, spiritual growth and understandings.
  • Journey Through the Bible Discipleship Course – disciples of Jesus Christ learning how to disciple by example of the Gospel record.
  • Urban Indigenous Christian Advocacy – advocating for social justice, truth, and reconciliation.
  • Community Chaplaincy – bringing The Church out of the church and onto the street.

This Christian faith-based group welcomes individuals affected by cancer, offering hope, love, and peace for current patients and survivors of all ages, regardless of diagnosis.

When: The First Tuesday of each month.
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Watoto Choir Tour 2024

Better Days

A vibrant worship experience by a family of orphans from Uganda.

The Watoto Choir travels the world as ambassadors of hope for Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable. They will be touring Saskatchewan from May 24 to 28. For more information about the group and their performances, check out their website at watoto.com.

Regina Street Outreach 2024

street outreach2Come and shine your light! Everyone is welcome to join the Street Outreach ministry group as they reach out on the streets of Regina with the love of God.

They meet in the middle of Victoria Park every Thursday – rain or shine – at 7 p.m. and minister in the downtown area until 9 p.m. This ministry will run until August 29, 2024.

Options’ Baby Bottle Campaign

options logoOptions Pregnancy Centre provides girls, women and their families with free, confidential services. They provide practical, informative resources, emotional support, educational programs, material support and client advocate services that help women in our community to make informed choices when facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Their Annual Baby Bottle Campaign involves individuals taking a baby bottle home with them from participating churches on Mother’s Day, filling it with money or a cheque, and then returning the bottle on Father’s Day. Alternately, you can pick a bottle up from the Centre.

If you don’t have a baby bottle, you can still participate! You can pick up a Baby Bottle Campaign donation slip from Pass the Word – 715 Victoria Avenue, Regina, or access their resources online.

Additionally, you can help fill our Baby Bottle when you drop into the store!

March for Life 2024

March for Life 2024Join the Saskatchewan Pro-Life Association for a peaceful demonstration of love for the most vulnerable in our world. Demonstrate respect for life from conception to natural death.

The March begins at noon from Holy Rosary Cathedral, proceeding to Albert Street and then the steps of the Legislature. (There is a Mass at Holy Rosary just prior to the march.)

There will be a short program at the Legislature at 1:15 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
