Ladies’ Night Out seeks to bring together women of faith from around the province of Saskatchewan for an evening of laughter, live music, stories, and networking, while enjoying  some delicious food. This year’s guest speaker, Roxanne Sawatsky, is an entrepreneur and business owner of Empowering Change Inc.

Additionally, to promote community and connectivity, Dress for Success Regina, the Regina Transition House, and Souls Harbour Rescue Mission have been invited to participate. Attendees will have an opportunity to donate to these organizations in a variety of ways.

Date: Saturday, October 19 – Reception at 5:00 p.m.; Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Wascana Country Club – 6500 Wascana Drive, Regina
Cost: $45 (includes 3-course meal and appetizers)

Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on project that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes packed by Canadians. It is one way to remind children suffering as a result of war, poverty, famine, disease, and disaster that they are loved and not forgotten.

Freedom in Christ Canada (FICM) is celebrating God’s faithfulness as they commemorate 25 years of sharing in the ministry of setting captives free.

Everyone is welcome to join together with FICM Canada to learn more about who we are in Christ with their founder and friend, Dr. Neil T. Anderson.

Date: Friday, November 1 at 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 2 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Banquet at 7:00 p.m.

Sex Trafficking Information Weekend

Everyone is welcome to hear guest speaker Tyrelle Smith talk about how and where sex trafficking is happening, as well as how to keep your kids safe.

Additionally, two “Get Away Safe” sessions will be offered, teaching fun and easy movements that will get an attacker’s hands off you, and allow you or your child to Get Away Safe.

Speaking fluently in more than 230 languages and dialects, Trans World Radio (TWR) exists to reach the world for Jesus Christ. Their global media outreach engages millions of people in 160 countries with biblical truth.

The TWR team will be touring Saskatchewan from September 16-22, 2019. The special guest speakers will be TWR Canada President, Ray Alary, and TWR Canada Communications Manager, Nicki Coles.

Symposium on Serving Regina

The second annual Symposium on Serving Regina features local and national organizations sharing what their needs are in regards to the volunteers they need.

Each presenter will have an opportunity to highlight their organization, and afterwards there will be an opportunity to meet them in person for further discussion. Some of this year’s presenters include: CityKidz, Operation Christmas Child, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Canadian Blood Services.
